This is an excellent opportunity to move up into a managerial position Job Description: Purpose: To manage execute and develop the day to day functions of the Operations Department. Scope: } Management of Staff} Continual trainimg of all operations staff} Goods receiving} Product Assembly} Product shipping} Plant Maintaince} Inventory Management} Vendor Management} Continuous Development and Improvment of Operations Systems} Qulaity Control} Maintain and continual improve of the ISO9001 Accreditation Specific Responsibilities: The Operations Manager will have responsibilty to carry out and or manage production resources on a daily basis to ensure that the following types of production based activities are completed. } Product assembly } Organization & collection of product to fill customer orders including packing.} Physical receipt of materials including inspection, counts goods receipt accuracy.} Pick up of materials from vendors (when necessary)} Operation of various shipping systems} Operation of customer returns system} Inspection and reporting upon returned product} Field service of product} Shop Maintenance (General cleanliness of the shop and organization of stock)} Grounds maintenance} Stock level maintenance in assembly areas} Waste Re-cycling Management} Improvements to the operational efficiency of the manufacturing and stock areas} Maintain appropriate staffing levels and improve efficiencies.} Maintaining and improving EFACS manufacturing software system} Maintaining and improving ISO9001 : 2008 Procedures} Constant improvement in all aspects of quality control} Constant improvement in all aspects of customer service} Constant improvement in operational efficiency} Contribute significantly to the management team Education: } High school diploma} Mnimum 2 year post high school technical degree, 4 year technical (engineering) bachelors degree would be preferable Experience: } Minimum 2 years work experience in manufacturing and warehouse environment} Supervision of at least 10-employees Necessary Skills: } highly motivated} organized} a good communicator} a self starter} team player} positive} highly resourceful} familiar with Word & Excel and/or windows software in general Desireable Skills:} Pneumatic experience} Management experience Client has implemented the following guidelines:1.
